| Dear Cris, Gabriel and I were very saddened to hear the news about Rick. From my too short acquaintance with him, I got to know Rick as an impassioned advocate for so many causes. I admired his ability to take on so many roles and responsibilities even when he wasn’t doing so well – PMS chair, Tsunami board, USMS meetings…he was an impressive person among his many swimming friends. Though we are unable to attend the memorial service, we both want to let you know that we will always think highly of Rick and to send you are warmest wishes. Regards – John and Gabriel |
